TERMS AND CONDITIONS | R2M GENEVA 2017

READY2MEET is been organized by the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities "SIG/FSCI" (www.swissjews.ch). The event subject to the following terms and conditions:

1 Registration

To make a booking you must send us a complete and correct online registration form through our website. In order to provide you with all the services requested, you have to send us the online registration form as soon as possible, at the latest until 6 December 2017. Your registration is binding and will only be completed after payment. Deadlines for regular and special offer are stated below (see §3).

By sending your registration, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions and give your consent to the processing of your personal information.

2 Acknowledgement of Receipt / Confirmation

After sending the registration form to us, you will automatically receive an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail including your full registration form. Please check it together with all other documents we send you as soon as you receive them. Contact us immediately if any information appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later. Receiving the automatic acknowledgement of receipt e-mail is no guarantee that your registration is been accepted, since you first have to pass a background check.

We cannot guarantee you a place before payment. Our service policy is first-come, first-served. Shortly after we have received your payment, your place will be confirmed, so that you can book your flight.

Due to security reasons, additional information including a detailed program and the hotel location will be sent to all participants later.

3 Prices and Payment

All prices on this website are stated per person incl. statutory value added tax (“VAT”). They are either in Swiss Francs (CHF) or in Euro (EUR). Prices and program may be subject to change.

In the acknowledgement of receipt e-mail you will be able to see which package you have booked and what the amount payable is.

To secure your place, please pay in the total amount payable as soon as possible, but at the latest until 7 December 2017.

If you want to profit from the limited special offer, you have to send your registration until 22 November 2017, 23:59 CET. Note that your payment has to arrive latest until 24 November 2017. Delayed payments may be charged at regular prices

Members of Jewish communities which are affiliated to the SIG/FSCI benefit from special conditions. A list of communities can be found here. You give your consent that we may verify your membership (see §7).

For payments by bank transfer from outside Switzerland we recommend SEPA payments. For further details about SEPA, check www.sepa.ch/en or please contact your bank.

You will not receive a separate invoice.


For payments by credit card (using PayPal), we have to charge you an additional fee (due to PayPal's prices).
You will receive an invoice by e-mail within 3-4 days after registration.


4 Refusal and Limitation of Accommodation

We reserve the right to assign or reassign rooms at any time, even after check-in. This may be necessary for operational, government regulatory, safety or security reasons. If you get a downgrade (e.g. moving from a single to a triple room) we may provide compensation.

We may refuse to accommodate you if one or more of the following have occurred or we reasonably believe may occur: any actions prohibited by government laws, regulations, or orders of the staff; the accommodation of you or your baggage may endanger or affect the safety, health, or materially affect the comfort of other participants or staff; your mental or physical state, including your impairment from alcohol or drugs, presents a hazard or risk to yourself, to participants, to staff, or to property; your possession of drugs without accompanying medical certificate; you have refused to submit to a security check out on you or your baggage or have refused to give information to us which we have asked to provide about you; you have not paid the applicable fare, taxes, fees or charges; you do not have or appear to have valid travel documents.

If we have refused to accommodate you for any of the reasons mentioned above, then we may cancel any remaining unused portion of your booking. You will not be entitled to further accommodation or to any refund and we will not be liable for any consequential loss or damage alleged due to any such refusal.

5 Right of Search

For reasons of safety and security we may request that you permit a search and scan of your person and a search, scan or x-ray of your baggage for the purpose of determining whether you are in possession of or whether your baggage contains any dangerous item such as any firearms, ammunition, explosives or weapons which are strictly forbidden to been carried or used by participants without authorisation. If you are unwilling to comply with a search and scan of your person and/or baggage we may refuse to accommodate you and your baggage.

6 Cancellation and Denied Check-in

If your booking is cancelled by us due to any reason or we are unable to provide previously confirmed space, we shall provide refund and assistance to those participants affected in accordance with applicable law.

7 Privacy / Data Protection

You agree to your personal information being held, processed and disclosed by us both within and outside the EU, namely in Switzerland. We will apply appropriate security measures to protect this data. However, we may have pass it over to suppliers, communities, hotels and other relevant providers. We may also supply it to security or credit checking companies and if need also to public authorities such as government departments or the police. You agree that we may do a personal background check due to security reasons.

With your registration, you agree that the SIG/FSCI may pass your details to its affiliated communities and you allow them to contact you if needed. This authorisation can be withdrawn at any time via a written message.

Please note that during the event images may be taken of you and they may be used by us for marketing purposes without charge in all media, such as brochures, slides, video shows and the internet. If you do not wish that images of you are been published please inform us by e-mail.

8 Insurance / Liability

The participants are solely responsible for medical and liability insurance. You should ensure that your insurance covers all medical and other expenses during your stay in Switzerland. No liability can be accepted for travel expenses (e.g. flight tickets).
SIG / FSCI and its partners do not take responsibility for damages done by participants (in hotel, buses and other locations). Participants are legally responsible for any damage they cause.

9 Religious Affairs

The event will be organised according to Jewish laws including strictly kosher food (except breakfast of the hotel) and respect to those who keep Shabbat ("Shomer Shabbat"). We ask every participant to respect the religious needs of others.

10 Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice and access to, and use of the website may be restricted or terminated at any time.

All legal agreements are governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.

11 Website Disclaimer / Monitoring

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis tool of Google Inc as well as social media plugins (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, ShareThis). By using this website, you give your consent to the processing of data gathered by Google, Facebook, Twitter, ShareThis and others about you in the manner described below:
